Brown fused alumina coated P sand P16~P1500

The significant chemical composition of brown fused alumina is α-alumina (α-Al2O3). Brown fused alumina is made by electric arc furnace smelting under high temperature with the raw materials of bauxite, anthracite, and scrap iron. It is characterized by high hardness, toughness, and abrasion resistance. It is purified, impurity removal, crystallization, sorting, crushing, magnetic separation, screening, etc. Processing means making products of various particle sizes. Brown corundum P sand is processed by further sieving and washing process based on brown corundum F sand standard. It has the characteristics of high grinding force, good self-sharpening, strong toughness, and good cleanliness. The brown fused alumina P grain has a more aggregative distribution than the F grain, with sharpness and evenly distributive features, bringing more efficiency for surface treatment. Brown fused aluminum oxide P grain is widely used in coated abrasive such as abrasive cloth, abrasive paper, abrasive belts, etc.

Introduction of brown fused alumina coated P sand P16~P1500:

brown fused alumina abrasive starts with the letter “P”, plus numerals to indicate that the larger the value, the finer the abrasive grain size. The particle size markers are: p240, p280, p320, p360, p400, p500, p600, p800, p1000, p1200, p1500. Through further sieving and washing process, the brown corundum P sand is processed on the basis of the brown corundum F sand standard. Brown corundum P sand is not calcined at high temperature and has a sharp shape, high grinding ability and good self-sharpening. Brown corundum P sand is mainly used to coat abrasive tools. Sand has a sharper, needle-like shape, a relatively low bulk density, and a relatively concentrated particle size distribution.
