Brown fused alumina grit F-size F8-F220

Brown fused alumina grit and crystallized under high temperature from calcined bauxite, coke, and iron mixture. Brown aluminium oxide has high compression strength, toughness, excellent self-sharpening, low thermal expansion coefficient, and excellent hydrophilia and cleanliness. Due to its good toughness and high hardness, brown fused aluminium oxide is suitable for bonded abrasives such as grinding wheels and cutoff wheels, coated abrasives, lapping, polishing, sandblasting abrasives that are used for grinding metals of high-tensile strength, such as carbon steel, general-purpose alloy steel, malleable cast-iron, and hard bronze, etc. It also can be used as refractory materials.

The process of brown fused alumina grit F-size F8-F220 :
Brown fused alumina is produced from high-quality bauxite. This process is conducted via the 3500 KVA electric arc furnace at a temperature higher than 2200℃.
bauxite is broken into crushing machine — elevating– roll crusher mill– sizing —magnetic separator —fine sieve —water washing (acid washing )—package (25kg/pp bag or 25kg paper bag,40 bags/ton bag or pallet )
Our brown fused alumina covers two production lines. The F type is mainly used for producing resin cutting /grinding wheels and sandblasting. The P-type is designed for coating abrasives.
