Mix Graded Bubble Alumina has the characteristics of lightweight, closed holes and high-temperature resistance. Industry alumina powder melting through the electric arc furnace, blowing and instantaneously cooling in air. It is used to produce lightweight insulating refractories where the prime requirements are low thermal conductivity and high-temperature properties. Alumina Bubble is also used effectively for loose-fill refractories, low density, high insulation refractory castable, or concrete, or to produce ceramic bodies useful in applications up to 1800°C.
